We are committed to strengthening our community, building connections, and creating opportunities that empower Nigerians in Finland—from shared vision to collective action.
Our Mission statement
Our Mission is to foster understanding among Nigerians living in Finland, promote friendship, provide support and assistance to Nigerians in Finland, and encourage multicultural interactions both within the Nigerian community and between Nigerians and Finns.
Our Vision
ACNF aims to promote social interaction among the various Nigerian groups represented in Finland, to provide assistance to members in need in areas such as employment, relocation, and integration, and to serve as a legal representative body for all Nigerians, speaking on their behalf to the authorities as needed.
Community wins and latest events 
Victory and unity on the field! Team Nigeria proudly took first place at the 2025 African Cup in Helsinki, with Sierra Leone and Gambia claiming silver and bronze. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this tournament a celebration of teamwork, love, and respect.
ESAN Union of Finland Marks Its Second Anniversary in Grand Style The ESAN Union of Finland recently celebrated its second anniversary, and it was nothing short of colorful, joyful, and deeply inspiring.
Career milestones worth celebrating! This month, ACNF members secured new jobs and signed employment contracts, a proud achievement made possible through our strong network, community support, and commitment to empowering Nigerians in Finland.
A Farewell to Madam Hope Osaro. On 9th August 2025, members of the Nigerian community in Finland gathered alongside family and friends to bid a heartfelt farewell to Madam Hope Osaro, a beloved woman remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for others. The funeral service was touching and filled with emotion, a true reflection of a life that touched many hearts.
Depression and anxiety are real struggles for many Nigerians in Finland; between the weather, loneliness, discrimination, and survival pressures. You don’t have to face it alone; your feelings are valid, and seeking support is strength.

Are you a Nigerian living in Finland? If yes, Join us, a space designed to showcase our businesses, skills, educational opportunities, employment and sociocultural endeavors. It is also a place for the exchange of ideas, networking, spreading valuable information and wholesome interactions for integrating into Finland. Responsibilities includes payment of the annual dues and other fees which may arise to support the community.

Serving as a liaison between members and the Nigerian Embassy in the Nordic region and working with similar organizations both within Finland and internationally.

Membership is open to all Nigerians living in Finland, as well as friends and supporters of the Nigerian community. To join, simply pay the annual membership fee of €40. Students fee is €20. It can also be split and paid via installments.

Members are welcome to take part in our cultural celebrations, networking events, workshops, and community projects. Event announcements are shared via our website, social media, and newsletters.
