Our Mission is to foster understanding among Nigerians living in Finland, promote friendship, provide support and assistance to Nigerians in Finland, and encourage multicultural interactions both within the Nigerian community and between Nigerians and Finns.
ACNF aims to promote social interaction among the various Nigerian groups represented in Finland, to provide assistance to members in need in areas such as employment, relocation, and integration, and to serve as a legal representative body for all Nigerians, speaking on their behalf to the authorities as needed.
Victory and unity on the field! Team Nigeria proudly took first place at the 2025 African Cup in Helsinki, with Sierra Leone and Gambia claiming silver and bronze. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this tournament a celebration of teamwork, love, and respect.
Our annual Nigerian summer picnic, held on 12th July 2025 brought the community together for a day of fun at the beach, complete with dancing, shared meals, and cherished connections.

Membership is open to all Nigerians living in Finland, as well as friends and supporters of the Nigerian community. To join, simply fill out our membership registration form and pay the annual membership fee of €40.
Members are welcome to take part in our cultural celebrations, networking events, workshops, and community projects. Event announcements are shared via our website, social media, and newsletters.
Our community provide guidance and resources to help newcomers settle in, including information on Finnish systems, cultural orientation, networking opportunities, and community support.
