Our Mission statement

Our Mission is to foster understanding among Nigerians living in Finland, promote friendship, provide support and assistance to Nigerians in Finland, and encourage multicultural interactions both within the Nigerian community and between Nigerians and Finns.

Our Vision

ACNF aims to promote social interaction among the various Nigerian groups represented in Finland, to provide assistance to members in need in areas such as employment, relocation, and integration, and to serve as a legal representative body for all Nigerians, speaking on their behalf to the authorities as needed.

Are you a Nigerian living in Finland? If yes, Join us, a space designed to showcase our businesses, skills, educational opportunities, employment and sociocultural endeavors. It is also a place for the exchange of ideas, networking, spreading valuable information and wholesome interactions for integrating into Finland. Responsibilities includes payment of the annual dues and other fees which may arise to support the community.

Diplomatic Connection and collaborative partnerships.

Serving as a liaison between members and the Nigerian Embassy in the Nordic region and working with similar organizations both within Finland and internationally.

Cultural connections exchange and celebrations

Promoting friendly relations between Finnish and Nigerian communities and fostering cross- cultural understanding Participate in Nigerian cultural events, festivals, and activities that keep our heritage alive.

Business promotion support, activities and funding

 Showcase your business, products, or services to our  community and beyond through our events, network, and platforms. ANCF plans to organize meetings, social events and group trips.

Below, you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our association, membership, and activities, designed to help you connect, integrate, and thrive within the Nigerian community in Finland.

Membership is open to all Nigerians living in Finland, as well as friends and supporters of the Nigerian community. To join, simply pay the annual membership fee of €40.  Students fee is €20.  It can also be split and paid via installments.

Members are welcome to take part in our cultural celebrations, networking events, workshops, and community projects. Event announcements are shared via our website, social media, and newsletters.

Our community provide guidance and resources to help newcomers settle in, including information on Finnish systems, cultural orientation, networking opportunities, and community support.

Yes. While we do not handle official applications, we can guide you to the right resources, share relevant information, and connect you with members who have experience in these areas.
