Our Mission statement
Our Mission is to foster understanding among Nigerians living in Finland, promote friendship, provide support and assistance to Nigerians in Finland, and encourage multicultural interactions both within the Nigerian community and between Nigerians and Finns.
Our Vision
ACNF aims to promote social interaction among the various Nigerian groups represented in Finland, to provide assistance to members in need in areas such as employment, relocation, and integration, and to serve as a legal representative body for all Nigerians, speaking on their behalf to the authorities as needed.

In loving memory of Lucia Onyinechi Madu.
It is with deep sadness that ANCF announces the passing of our beloved sister and member, Lucia Onyinechi Madu, on 28 May 2026 at the age of 39. ANCF extends its heartfelt condolences to Lucia’s family and loved ones. May her soul rest in perfect peace.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for the ANCF 2026 Annual Picnic. Thank you for making it a day full of laughter, delicious food, refreshing drinks, great music, and unforgettable dancing. Together, we celebrated our culture, strengthened our community, and created lasting memories. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
ANCF Food Day was a wonderful success as our community came together in the spirit of generosity and unity. Held at Jumbo Hall, Vantaa, the event brought support and nourishment to students and job seekers through shared meals and meaningful connections. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, and contributed to making this initiative impactful. Your kindness truly made a difference.
Career milestones worth celebrating! Every month, ANCF members secured new jobs and signed employment contracts, a proud achievement made possible through our strong network, community support, and commitment to empowering Nigerians in Finland.

The Nigerian community in Finland came together in grand style to celebrate Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary. The event, held in Vantaa, was filled with joy, unity, and vibrant cultural expressions that reflected the pride of being Nigerian, even far from home.
Depression and anxiety are real struggles for many Nigerians in Finland; between the weather, loneliness, discrimination, and survival pressures. You don’t have to face it alone; your feelings are valid, and seeking support is strength.

Responsibilities includes payment of the annual dues and other fees which may arise to support the community.
Diplomatic Connection and collaborative partnerships.
Serving as a liaison between members and the Nigerian Embassy in the Nordic region and working with similar organizations both within Finland and internationally.

Who can become a member, and how do I join?
Membership is open to all Nigerians living in Finland, as well as friends and supporters of the Nigerian community. To join, simply pay the annual membership fee of €40. Students fee is €20. It can also be split and paid via installments.

How can I participate in cultural events and programs?
Members are welcome to take part in our cultural celebrations, networking events, workshops, and community projects. Event announcements are shared via our website, social media, and newsletters.
What support does the association offer to newcomers adjusting to life in Finland?
Our community provide guidance and resources to help newcomers settle in, including information on Finnish systems, cultural orientation, networking opportunities, and community support.
Yes. While we do not handle official applications, we can guide you to the right resources, share relevant information, and connect you with members who have experience in these areas.
